Save Image to file
  • Bitmap  Saves plot to a raster file in the following formats.    
    ·
                Joint Photographic Experts Group  <JPG>
                Windows Bitmap  <BMP>
                Portable Network Graphics  <PNG>
  • Vector (wmf) Saves plot to a windows meta file (vectored).

    Save image to clipboard

    The formats are the same as saving to a file (bitmap, vector) but goes to the clipboard instead allowing the user to immediately paste the image into their application.

    The advantage of the vector format is that it is scalable, that is if it is imported into a word processing or other program it can be resized without loss of resolution.  The advantage of the bitmap is that it can be used on a web page (gif, png) or imported into programs that do not support the .wmf format.
  • Print - Prints the image in color to the default windows printer.
